Disability Access and Inclusion Plan

Disability Access and Inclusion Plan

We have a Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) to help guide how our health service delivers safe, quality services.

We are committed to fostering an environment where people with disability can fully participate and thrive.

Our goal is to ensure everyone has equitable access to the following, while feeling valued and respected in all interactions with us:

  • Services and events
  • Buildings and facilities
  • Information
  • Quality customer services
  • Complaints and feedback
  • Public consultation
  • Employment opportunities

Our Plan reflects our shared vision for inclusion and accessibility, combining efforts and building upon previous achievements under our earlier DAIPs and outlines steps we intend to take to create welcoming spaces and experiences for all.

This is a collective responsibility, where every staff member plays a role in advancing access and inclusion, not just as a requirement but as a core enabler in achieving our Vision and Values.

The DAIP is an integral part of who we are and how we serve our community.

Please email EMHS.GeneralEnquiries@health.wa.gov.au if you want a copy of the plan sent to you.
