Visiting Times

Permitted visiting hours are:

  • 8am to 8pm
  • Seven days a week

Special arrangements may be possible outside of these hours. To enquire of the possibility to attend the hospital outside of visiting hours, please phone the hospital switchboard on 9391 2000 and request to speak with the ward.

Please call the hospital on the contact number provided to you in your appointment if you are currently positive for COVID-19 or if you have had COVID-19 in the last 7 days.

Visiting hours – Maternity, Paediatrics and Neonates
Permitted visiting hours are:

  • 8am to 1pm
  • 3pm to 8pm
  • Seven days a week

Please note rest period for maternity, paediatrics and neonatal wards is 1pm – 3pm. 


Visiting hours – Emergency Department
Limit of one visitor per patient within the Emergency Department. 

Visiting hours – Leschen Mental Health Unit
Banksia, Karri, Moodjar & Yorgum wards

Please contact ward staff on 9391 2300 to arrange visits. Please be aware that nursing staff on individual wards may adjust the visiting hours to meet the medical requirements of the patients on that ward.

Only visit when you are feeling well. If you are feeling unwell (e.g. you have diarrhoea, vomiting or have signs of a cold or flu) please stay home, as this will prevent the spread of infection and help in your family member's or friend's speedy recovery.

  

Visitors should never touch wounds, dressings, intravenous lines or other equipment being used to treat a patient.
